Credentialing is a essential part in the travel nursing industry. It is a comprehensive screening prior to you starting your contract. There is no evading this step in the entire process as it ensures your eligibility to travel and provide care in a hospital setting. It can be a little intense and requires immediate action because if you're not credentialed and cleared to start by the due date the vendor and hospital set you are at risk of getting pushed back to a later start date. For reference if you have a start date of April 25th, your items are all due 5 business days before you start. Any later and you may get pushed back an entire week! My advice, remain proactive! Please feel free to use this thread to ask questions about the credentialing process! Or share your experience, good or bad!
